About
Award-winning music artist Aaron Hill is a featured vocalist with the Dayton Philharmonic this season. Mr. Hill has previously performed with Toledo Opera (Carmen, The Magic Flute), University of Louisville Opera (Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi), Bowling Green Children’s Opera (Buffo in The Princess and the Pea), and Bowling Green Opera Theatre (Apollo in Semele, Ciccio in The Most Happy Fella, Luiz in The Gondoliers, Così fan tutte, Street Scene, Cavalleria Rusticana, The Lantern Wedding).
Mr. Hill won first place in the Kentucky NATS Hall Johnson Spiritual Competition (2020) and second place in the Marjorie E. Conrad Art Song Competition (2018). In 2024, he was regionally recognized in the Miami Valley for leading and supporting musical theatre roles, earning praise for his charm and soaring tenor voice (Flight of the Lawnchair Man, The Hello Girls).
He holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Louisville and studied vocal performance at Bowling Green State University.
